Dewey’s 24/hr Readathon – April 2017

So you if you don’t know what Dewey’s 24/hr Readathon is It’s sort of a reading challenge, everyone starts at the same time. For 24 hours everyone post on their blogs, Twitter, Instagram, etc. about our reading. It happens twice a year in April and October. You check out their website here to check for updates, read old post, etc.

So for me, I had this readathon all planned. Where I live I started at 7 am. I was going to wake up, take my medicine, relax for a few minutes. Then start reading.

My reading goal for this readathon:

1.) Finish Simon VS. the homo-sapiens agenda by Becky Albertalli

2.) Start Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters by: Rick Riordan

3.) Maybe start City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare

And to be totally honest, this day did not go as planned at all. I woke up at 10:30. And didn’t start reading till about 11:30-12. But I did finish Simon VS. the Homo-sapiens agenda. And OHMYGOSH! I loved that book so much. 5 outta 5 stars. Highly recommend. There was one part that I literally screamed! I may post a review about it in the next few days.

Then around 11 pm I started Sea of Monsters. And Literally got to chapter 2.

But I am glad that I got 2 of my 3 things marked off for this readathon. My very first readathon. I’m so glad i participated in this one. I cant wait till October for the next one.

Happy Reading,

Delanna
